pauledell Posted July 2, 2010 Share #2 Posted July 2, 2010 Jeff, Spectacular shots. Please tell me these weren't taken with a LF camera. They sure look like it. Paul
jplomley Posted July 2, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted July 2, 2010 Cheers Paul. These were taken with the Leica S2 which sports a 37.5 MP medium format sensor. Wish you could see the prints, because I sure sacrificed iQ with the 290kB and 960 pixel limit on LUF!

andybarton Posted July 2, 2010 Share #8 Posted July 2, 2010 390kb is only if you are a subscriber, IIRC.

daveleo Posted July 3, 2010 Share #17 Posted July 3, 2010 Jeff i love your photos here and must check out your website. the Swift River to me is . . . i can't find the words, except that it was a sanctuary in stressful times for me (a lifetime ago) . . . and D (my wife) has instructions to scatter my ashes in the river (when the time comes ) , as that is where i want to be. (i don't mean to sidetrack your thread . . . must go to your website and see what else you have there )
jplomley Posted July 4, 2010 Author Share #18 Posted July 4, 2010 Dave, I could not agree more regarding the Swift River. My wife and I make several trips a year to the area with our 4x5. The Basin is one of my favorite areas where I just explore for hours the nuances of the flowing water and the sculpted rock. Dianna Baths is another favorite. I've attached a few from that area taken with the Arca Swiss on Ilford Delta-100 which was reverse processed. Both images were with a Schneider 110XL. These are down-sampled from 20" x 25" prints originating as drum scans, so a lot of information is compressed, but you get the idea. Welcome, dear visitor!
