i love your photos here and must check out your website.

 

the Swift River to me is . . . i can't find the words, except that it was a sanctuary in stressful times for me (a lifetime ago) . . . and D (my wife) has instructions to scatter my ashes in the river (when the time comes :p ) , as that is where i want to be.

 

(i don't mean to sidetrack your thread . . . must go to your website and see what else you have there )

Dave, I could not agree more regarding the Swift River. My wife and I make several trips a year to the area with our 4x5. The Basin is one of my favorite areas where I just explore for hours the nuances of the flowing water and the sculpted rock. Dianna Baths is another favorite. I've attached a few from that area taken with the Arca Swiss on Ilford Delta-100 which was reverse processed. Both images were with a Schneider 110XL. These are down-sampled from 20" x 25" prints originating as drum scans, so a lot of information is compressed, but you get the idea.
