Equipment used today will sound a bit weird :

apo-Elmarit 180 with 2x apo-extender mounted with Stativ-1 on the old universal handgrip with shoulder stock, coupled to an Olympus E-30 via Leica 4/3 ring.

I have kept my R stock hoping for a R-10 which never materialized and I am reasonably happy with this particular Oly and its half-decent viewfinder.

Here is the original plant this time M8 and macro-Elmar. The flower is roughly 1 inch (2-3 cm) long.

May I draw your attention to the Purdon conservation area (Lanark County close to Ottawa) where the Cypripedium reginae is in full bloom around mid-June.
