Bigger than a 16.  Austin 18 York?

I thought the York had the same body as the Heavy 16 and the only difference was the engine. Same with the previously deleted 20HP.

Austin 16?

Correct first time Graham; it's actually registered as a 1934 Austin 16 Six 2249cc and was known as the Austin Sixteen Light Six

The optional Hayes self-selector transmission was not popular and was fitted to very few examples.

A 'fill-in' pic ... Just to show an English interpretation of a 30's based hot rod at the recent Stilton Cheese Classic Car Run charity event. Destination is The Bell Inn Stilton near Peterborough where entrants park, eat/drink and chat.  This "Petite Cinque Coupe" ? started life as a 1935 Morris Eight – no idea which V8 has been fitted. I have some additional pix of other cars attending but will hold in abeyance.

Dunk,

That looks like a Daimler V8, either the 2.5L from the SP250 and 2.5L saloon (Jaguar Mk.2 body) or the big 4.5L V8 from the Majestic Major saloon. A friend shoehorned the 4.5L V8 into an SP250 sports car but really this was a step too far for its rather flexible chassis. The doors tended to fly open on accelerating out of corners which is just a tad too exciting.

Too easy ...........and now watch, as I'll probably get it wrong. Looks like a 1990s PORSCHE Carrera, also know as the model 964...

You think it might be a 1990's Porsche 964 Carrera RS (in 'Speed Yellow' - not that you had any idea of the colour from the previous snap)?

You certainly got the 'I'll probably get it wrong' bit right, Ivan!......:lol:......It will be difficult to 'hide' this car easily as it's quite distinctive but let's see how we get on from here;

I should point out that I'm not sure whether these alloys were an 'original equipment option' or aftermarket...

VW Corrado from the 90's?

No; not a Corrado Graham. I'll give everyone a small clue. It isn't German...

Here's a bit from 'round the rear;

Alpine A310?

Ah! You are very nearly there, Wilson!

Correct marque but incorrect number. This car was released in the early 1990's. One last pic will be enough to clear things up;
