businessasusual Posted July 2, 2011 Share #1688 Posted July 2, 2011 Stuart,I kinda feel bad because I've not given too much away - I was really limited in which part I could post because any more in the frame would give it away (not to mention my reflection of me in PJ's looking like I've escaped) :) - Gosh, that was long winded reply to get to "No". businessasusual Posted July 3, 2011 Share #1692 Posted July 3, 2011 Ha, ha,you are right on all counts. Baton is yours, buying me time to hunt down cars to photograph - so next one will be more complicated. This is such fun. Thanks!
Rona!d Posted July 3, 2011 Share #1693 Posted July 3, 2011 (edited) Kaina, this is fun indeed. Typical Michelotti design. Do you have any trouble with the engine? The Stag got a very bad reputation in its time. Nowadays not a big problem to deal with, most parts available and with some good care it's a very nice car. You got the right angle to hide the typical design elements. Give me some time, will post a car when I'm back home. businessasusual Posted July 3, 2011 Share #1694 Posted July 3, 2011 The car belongs to my partner who refuses to let it go because she has not forgiven herself for giving away a Studebaker 1962 Hawk some 30 years ago. I consider it a ship anchor. It purrs, you can hear that V8 coming from a block away - beautiful sound but the both of us have been known to apply Bush Mechanics when it has failed us, particularly HOT weather. Being a European car - not sure it was bred for our climate - I mean puddle lights, really. :) Perth has the very best climate for storing classics/vintages etc - rust is not an issue here. I, myself, would prefer a 1930's Merc 2 door convertible if I were to go vintage. The funny story is that I had a MX5 (Miata) and could not fit all my Nikon equipment in it - so I bought a Jeep and 6 months later swapped Nikon for my first M6TTL which would have been perfect for MX5 - LOL. We both really love cars. Looking forward to next car image.
Rona!d Posted July 3, 2011 Share #1695 Posted July 3, 2011 We can exclude 1920´s to 1990´s - makes it quite easy, doesn´t it? Nethertheless, maker and model please: Welcome, dear visitor!
