Rona!d Posted January 8, 2014 Share #5981 Posted January 8, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) well if you consider getting one like this, there was one, maybe with less history, sold in 2007 for more than EUR 190k and I assume they have not gotten cheaper since then ... Bonhams : 1902 Wolseley 10hp Twin-Cylinder Rear-Entrance Tonneau 168 Thanks, lovely machine! I´m into "cars", not into powered carriages, especially not at such an amount of money I was allowed to "drive" a Benz Motorwagen replica some years ago, oh well I really like to look of those early Wolseleys, especially with the not original air tyres. They look like toys.

a.j.z Posted January 8, 2014 Share #5982 Posted January 8, 2014 yes, the guy who drove with it from London to Brighton 45 times must really be an enthusiast
wlaidlaw Posted January 8, 2014 Share #5983 Posted January 8, 2014 That was a “topish” price for a veteran with around £40-80K more common pricing. The problem is that they are not very usable. The gear changes are normally fiendishly difficult, the performance and brakes next to non-existent and the reliability, abysmal. There are very few events each year for them and only one really important one, the London to Brighton. The really valuable ones are the Mercedes and Napier cars, because they drive much better than the others, with I guess the big engined Panhards next best. Driving a slightly later Rolls Royce Silver Ghost (from 1907 onwards) is a totally different experience. They are so much better to drive, more comfortable and as long as they are in good condition and lubricated every day, they just don’t break down. Rona!d Posted January 13, 2014 Share #5988 Posted January 13, 2014 p.s. Not a prototype, serial "end client" car from a big maker, so you should be able to find out what it is.

a.j.z Posted January 15, 2014 Share #5999 Posted January 15, 2014 (edited) Stupid me, BMW i3! I all the time thought that this is a very unusual cockpit design without drawing the obvious conclusion that it must be a very unusual car (the Skoda guess came because of the green lights without seeing the second pic). Rona!d Posted January 15, 2014 Share #6000 Posted January 15, 2014 (edited) And you got it! Your turn! p.s. Everybody knows how the i3 looks, so I don´t post one. The exterior shots I have are pure clients photos. Edited January 16, 2014 by Rona|d
