stuny Posted April 30, 2012 Share #3381 Posted April 30, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) John - My intent was to be between now and 3 to 4 years ago. If I recall the Audi A5, four years ago, was the first with LED running lights. Since then they've spread widely.

jevidon Posted May 2, 2012 Share #3385 Posted May 2, 2012 Thanks, but I defer to Ronald since he specifically identified the model. I assumed it was just the "everyday & common" SL.
Rona!d Posted May 3, 2012 Share #3386 Posted May 3, 2012 Jevidon, its your turn! I´d need a day for the next riddle and you got the right maker and a strong hint to the model as well.
stuny Posted May 3, 2012 Share #3387 Posted May 3, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) The SLS looks no easier to get in and out of than the original Gullwing, with the wide sills -- In the original I seem to recall the wide sills covered torque boxes. The tube frame needed that space, Stu. That´s why the first SLs had gullwing doors (it was no marketing gimmick). The later Roadster had some reinforcement tricks but also a tube fram with wide sills. The Roadster was by far not that stiff.
jevidon Posted May 3, 2012 Share #3389 Posted May 3, 2012 OK. Here s the next one. I will not ask for the year or even the model. Just name the car. For the real car enthusiast, the hood (bonnet) ornament may be enough. I blurred the name. Welcome, dear visitor! Andreas.Pichler Posted May 4, 2012 Share #3392 Posted May 4, 2012 I am a little bit confused...James, as far as I understand the rules of this game the one who started the ridle is not allowed to make guesses - or do I oversee something? My guess is Adler Cheers, Andreas

J_Thompson Posted May 4, 2012 Share #3394 Posted May 4, 2012 Agreed. It looks like a Voisin to me, too.
jevidon Posted May 4, 2012 Share #3395 Posted May 4, 2012 It looks like some stuff went into the Ethernet. I did respond that it was indeed a Voisin ornament. Then it looked like someone posted another ornament that looked like an old Lincoln to me and I answered that. Now it has all disappeared. It must have been something I drank. In any case, it is Voisin. Go, Steed. Mrs. Peel will wait. Welcome, dear visitor! steed Posted May 8, 2012 Share #3399 Posted May 8, 2012 It is hard to respond substantively without giving the show away. While you clearly know your stuff, neither of your inclinations is on target this time.
