jevidon Posted February 6, 2012 Share #2921 Posted February 6, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I believe I owned one just like it, but in red. Since I already identified one car and presented another, I'll sit this one out.

jevidon Posted February 6, 2012 Share #2924 Posted February 6, 2012 Those grand kids are winners. Lucky you!
efix Posted February 7, 2012 Share #2925 Posted February 7, 2012 Alfa Romeo Spider. Series 4 I believe I second that. The boot lid looks like the classic Spider, but the steering wheel and instruments look like those from an E30 3-series BMW (at least from a distance). Must be Series 4. Rona!d Posted February 7, 2012 Share #2927 Posted February 7, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Gerd, that series was a nice attempt to make people forget the old ugly rear spoiler of the predecessor. Unfortunately the dashboard got "cleaned" as well. Thanks for providing such a photo with cute kids and very nice car! This was the last of the beautiful Alfa Spiders for a long time. jevidon Posted February 7, 2012 Share #2928 Posted February 7, 2012 I had a 1983 Series 3, and while I agree about the black after thought spoiler, it was a delightful car and with it painted in blood red, the spoiler was less objectionable. It really had an under steer making it a little tough to toss it about, but I added frame stiffeners and altered the front toe in and camber and then it really handled beautifully. Yours is very pretty.

jevidon Posted February 8, 2012 Share #2930 Posted February 8, 2012 Lancia Aurelia B20? Vintage 1950's?
Gibbo Posted February 8, 2012 Share #2931 Posted February 8, 2012 Not a Lancia. I believe this model comes from the early 60's but is a variant of one that started life in the very late 40's
stuny Posted February 8, 2012 Share #2932 Posted February 8, 2012 To get started, a sedan from the late '50s, probably of European or UK origin.

Rona!d Posted February 8, 2012 Share #2934 Posted February 8, 2012 Now that looks like Rover P4, thought your shot showed the rear lights, not the front blinker.
Gibbo Posted February 8, 2012 Share #2935 Posted February 8, 2012 It is a P4, would you like to come up with the variant before I post a full picture?
elansprint72 Posted February 8, 2012 Author Share #2936 Posted February 8, 2012 Looks like a 110 to me but I think the 105 was the same... or was there a bit more chrome on that one?
Rona!d Posted February 8, 2012 Share #2937 Posted February 8, 2012 It is a P4, would you like to come up with the variant before I post a full picture? Maybe Pete or our other friends want to do the rest and post the next car as well?
elansprint72 Posted February 8, 2012 Author Share #2938 Posted February 8, 2012 Thanks Ron. I was not sure how much to include in this one- somebody might get it right off, or maybe not. I am only looking for the manufacturer, because I do not know the model for sure. Welcome, dear visitor!
