Without any further info about the "euro-connection" or further photos it starts to become a wild brand guess without any detailed models. I´d have some more brands in my mind but some further details would be helpful, be it infos like (UK/French connection etc.), be it another shot be it "built in .... (name of production countries)"

Applause :-) Lenn, its your turn!

Yep, MG Arnolt TD, built from 1950 to 1953. Technical parts from MG TD.

Idea by Mr Arnolt from USA, he made a deal with Bertone after visiting a car show where Arnolt saw some Bertone designs.

After around 100 car, MG was no longer able to provide Bertone with chassis, so production ended here.

Some more information and pictures here:

And thats the whole picture, taken at Terry Sanders workshop in Oakland 2007...

Stuart, not a FIAT. Ronald comes pretty close when he is heading north - but not a Wolseley, an not a Magnette.

Cheers, Andreas

That should have told us it is an MG, because you did not exclude my MG Magnette guess ;) So Lykaman was correct with MG hybrid.

Thanks! More or less luck and a little bit of investigation. Because I don't have fitting pictures and not the time to shoot some at the moment (harrgs, wait until february, when I'll retire!), everyone should feel free to continue her.

Best! Lenn

I dont think its british - the brits love wheels with knock-ons, here we have hubcaps.

The valve cover indicates that it is not a side valve engine.

Relatively small brakes - so it must an older one, maybe around 1925, french or american. I would go for an american car - and the hubcaps are the key...

@ Ronald: I have the same feeling concerning pre war cars, especially from the 20ies - sort of lego brick design ;-)

Cheers, Andreas
