kokoshawnuff Posted September 20, 2011 Share #2266 Posted September 20, 2011 It's not a concept car, but a short run of production 40 or so years ago...
gmo Posted September 21, 2011 Share #2267 Posted September 21, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) My first idea was the Lancia Stratos Zero but that has the steering wheel in a normal place. So I know tend to go for Bizzarrini Manta from G.Giugiaro. Regards Gerd
kokoshawnuff Posted September 22, 2011 Share #2268 Posted September 22, 2011 you're correct Gerd. Bizzarrini, a company that went bankrupt in 1969, and reemerged in the 1990s making custom and concept cars.

gmo Posted September 23, 2011 Share #2274 Posted September 23, 2011 Stuart, not a Corvette either. We are looking for an European car. Gerd
stuny Posted September 23, 2011 Share #2275 Posted September 23, 2011 The butresses suggest a Ferrari, but again the exhaust pipe seems too small.
Rona!d Posted September 23, 2011 Share #2276 Posted September 23, 2011 I'd say it's a Gillet Vertigo, but what do I know.
gmo Posted September 23, 2011 Share #2277 Posted September 23, 2011 Ronald, Apparently more than enough. It's a Gillet Vertigo Streiff (Belgian car !) powered at that time by a V6 Alfa Romeo engine of 3,6 l. These days it's a Maseratti V8 under the bonnet. This one was out of the race after the first hour of the 24. Welcome, dear visitor! Rona!d Posted September 26, 2011 Share #2279 Posted September 26, 2011 Sorry guys, took me some time to find a "mid easy", not too exotic one which you may find out within a day or two. So how about this one? Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! stuny Posted September 26, 2011 Share #2280 Posted September 26, 2011 (edited) The vent wing suggests nothing newer than 1970s, though the mirror looks like a much newer design. Edited September 26, 2011 by stuny
