wlaidlaw Posted December 9, 2023 Share #21047 Posted December 9, 2023 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) According to my Georgano Encyclopaedia of the Automobile, its original name was "The Aerodinamica". There seem to have been two versions, one with very exaggerated "Cadillac-ish" fins and a better looking version without. There was even a three wheeled version to entice Reliant Robin owners away from their horrible devices. Wilson Don’t get me started on the Reliant Robin’ saw a guy drive one into a garage service pit, forgot it only had one wheel upfront. Reliant made the lovely Scimitar - Ford running gear if I remember. Princess Anne was stopped exceeding the speed limit on the M1 in a Scimitar. 🍷 Edited December 9, 2023 by Indeepthought

MattiasAndersson Posted December 9, 2023 Share #21051 Posted December 9, 2023 (edited) The one with big fins, the X, had four wheels but strangely one in the middle front and back... as a rhombus… so three axles. Ok, here is a crop for you to guess the next car. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! NigelG Posted December 9, 2023 Share #21052 Posted December 9, 2023 Whilst well aware that I have myself been guilty of a tight crop (🙄) when required to disguise “giveaway” features of a particular car I’m wondering if I will need to look at available research articles on chrome trim strip finishes or maybe manufacturer paint codes to get anywhere near this. Joking aside - there’s something very familiar but just-out-of-touch here…🤔
