Not many cars after WW1 had drum type fuel tanks and I am guessing that from the colour it has to be US or German origin. It looks very like a 1913 Opel factory racer, so I wonder if they dusted off this car after WW1 and called it a 1920 model.

If one closes one eye and squints a bit, i find that there seems to be some resemblance to early Renault cars in the 'grille'area. It probably isn't a Renault and I agree we really could use additional hints or details that would help identify this thing.....starting with the highly unconventional ( for the time) front suspension - no wonder Wilson thought it might be a frontwheel-drive Miller since it bears some resemblance to his designs.

Absolutely.

Four days have passed and it would seem that no-one has any firm idea aout this mystery. Some - but not too much! - help would be appreciated Stuart!
