Thank you, Andreas, for the Wiki link. I had extremely vague memories of seeing pictures of a Bradley in my VW days but have never, to this day, seen one in the GRP. I could only confirm my suspicions through a different website so can hardly count this as a resounding victory... OK; here is the next candidate. First crop(s) shown will be in monochrome as the colour might give away some part of the I.D. FWIW I have always liked this sleek little runabout but they are rarely to be seen (AFAIK) on roads in the UK nowadays. Best of good luck! Welcome, dear visitor! IkarusJohn Posted August 23 Share #23790 Posted August 23 Pininfarina design, Italian coupé? The silver dome on the rear window suggests a hinged window. Perhaps Peugeot? I know, not Italian.

Yes (sort-of) to 'Italian' coupé because (as Nigel says and AFAIK too) it was manufactured in Italy. Yes; hinged rear side-windows. Yes Peugeot. NigelG Posted August 23 Share #23796 Posted August 23 (edited) I was wondering re the b+w due to a colour being relevant…there were no 406 coupe specific colours I think (and no Alpine Blue ). I don’t recall seeing one and noticing it had a “telltale” colour (Unlike a Volvo 850 T5-R estate looming in your mirrors in “look-at-me” yellow…) http://www.406coupeclub.org/Coupe_Colours.asp Edited August 23 by NigelG
a.j.z Posted August 23 Share #23797 Posted August 23 (edited) I did not mean that the color is named Alpine blue but that it looks like the blue of Alpine cars. This is due to Philips hint that he did not show the color because it could reveal part of the ID. The other option would be the Roland Garosse green. This example is finished in what I suspect (thanks for the colour chart Nigel!) is Aegean Blue and I, for one, can't see cars in such shades of blue without my mind bringing various Alpine-Renaults and the Ligier / Prost F1 machinery to mind therefore it would quite likely have been fairly obvious from the outset that the car was of French origin. Here are two pics of the thing - and in glorious Technicolor to boot! Welcome, dear visitor! It is clearly being well cared-for as - apart from needing a good wash - it is in lovely condition. From what I have seen over the last week or so it is also being driven as it has never been in quite the same parking bay on this little street near us here in La Rochelle. Thanks to everyone for playing and over to Andreas for the next quiz! Philip.
 Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members!
