stuny Posted October 26, 2023 Share #20804 Â Posted October 26, 2023 The puzzle car is newer than the Mercer, and not made in New Jersey, or the US, for that matter.
wlaidlaw Posted October 26, 2023 Share #20805  Posted October 26, 2023 Not many cars after WW1 had drum type fuel tanks and I am guessing that from the colour it has to be US or German origin. It looks very like a 1913 Opel factory racer, so I wonder if they dusted off this car after WW1 and called it a 1920 model. Wilson
stuny Posted October 26, 2023 Share #20806 Â Posted October 26, 2023 Still newer, correct continent (Europe), and still making vehicles after all these years.

a.j.z Posted October 29, 2023 Share #20817  Posted October 29, 2023 Ok, so we know: European, but not Germany, France or Italy around 1923 the manufacturer still exists I still have no clue. So let’s try to narrow it down: UK?
Ivan Goriup Posted October 29, 2023 Share #20818 Â Posted October 29, 2023 If one closes one eye and squints a bit, i find that there seems to be some resemblance to early Renault cars in the 'grille'area. It probably isn't a Renault and I agree we really could use additional hints or details that would help identify this thing.....starting with the highly unconventional ( for the time) front suspension - no wonder Wilson thought it might be a frontwheel-drive Miller since it bears some resemblance to his designs.
