One of those horrible cod Mitsuoka Jaguar copies based on a Nissan Micra. My middle daughter was desperate to get one but she settled on a new Mini Cooper instead.

A horrible fish, indeed! It's called a Mitsuoka Viewt, and it's a kind of pastiche Jag. Whenever I see one, which is fairly often in Japan, I want to shout and throw things at it, but, as I'm a civilized fellow, I just mutter under my breath.

You're next!

James -

Let's see some of your photos in the photo sections, and commentary all over.  Welcome to the Forum.

Dear Stuart,

According to your post #18359 "The way this thread works is the member correctly guessing the mystery car gets to post the next one."

I cannot post until I guess the next car, which I will do when eligible.  In the meantime I will take a photograph or two and scan a few from slides and negatives.

Thank-you for the Rules.

Kind regards,

James

OK guys here is your next one. I had never seen one of these until someone in the village bought one recently, so I am guessing fairly rare. Usual info required Marque and Model. I don't this model ever changed over the years it was made, so year irrelevant. Given its name, you might be misled on its origins.

European and none of the ones mentioned to date. A production vehicle made in at least three different versions and had two different engines fitted at various periods. The later ones were made by two different large manufacturers. The last ones were made in around 2007.

Not a P4 but built by a sub-division of Peugeot (they purchased the previous manufacturer) at the end of its life.

I was thinking of the Panhard subdivision but can´t recall a light "LR-like" vehicle, most were and are heavily armored.
