Rona!d Posted December 16, 2020 Share #14124 Posted December 16, 2020 Ok, a larger crop but now I insist on the correct and full models name, body specification and model year. Welcome, dear visitor! Correct! But: Wrong year and not a dually, only single wheels on the rear. Name the body specifications name used by Chevrolet. in this case it has nothing to do with being a "dually". Later "duallies" had a (different in detail but somehow) similar looking body shape (at least for us non-experts who would only recognize the difference from a birds eye view). All details shown for an exact identification.
stuny Posted December 16, 2020 Share #14127 Posted December 16, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Probably a '65 with the shorter (6 1/2 foot instead of 8 foot) bed. That style, with the rear fenders (wings) and wheels outside the bed of the truck, as shown in Ronald's image, provided room for a running board or step - hence the name Stepside. Later Chevys had flat sides with the rear wheel encroachment in the bed, and are called Fleetside. I can't recall a dual rear wheel version this early in Chevy's history, but if it did have them they would be clearly different from nearly any view, as the rear fenders (wings) would probably bulge out further to accommodate the extra wheels. Rona!d Posted December 16, 2020 Share #14128 Posted December 16, 2020 65 is closer but not the exact model year, so fine tune that 😉 "Stepside" is correct, Stu. The ones with the close sideline were called "Fleetside". I think there is no earlier or later with Fleetside or Stepside. I think both could be ordered in the 1960s depending on what the client wanted. Of the early C10s there were also Fleetsides available from 1961 to 1966. stuny Posted December 16, 2020 Share #14129 Posted December 16, 2020 I think the C10 stepsides were just three years - '64-'66, so I'll go with '66. typically in the era GM ran a design for 3 to 5 years with minor facelifts before introducing a new model, which was usually not that new. stuny Posted December 16, 2020 Share #14135 Posted December 16, 2020 Year is close, but not a Ferrari. I suspect the badge on the wing (fender) made you think of PF.

stuny Posted December 16, 2020 Share #14140 Posted December 16, 2020 Well done. Actually a '57 which is indistinguishable from the '56, both using Thunderbird drive train if I recall correctly. In a period of excess I liked its visual simplicity. Your turn. Welcome, dear visitor!
