There were some American cars and trucks with Knight in their title, including the Willys Knight, Federal Knight and, I think, just plain Knight. It is a long shot, but the knight on this car stands out.

William

… could also be a 'crusader'  or 'warrior'?

Sentinel Waggon Works was still making steam wagons in 1950 for export to Argentina.

Thank you, Dunk.

This one, aimed pretty much at the opposite end of the 'potential buyer' scale from the 105E, might prove ridiculously easy but here you go anyhow;

M9-P, 7a 50mm 1/30 f1.1 @ ISO 1250 (it was dark in there!)...

EDIT : Just thought I'd mention that the firm which (apparently) owned the Sentinel steam wagons was based just a couple of miles away from my childhood home...

Looks like a 488 Spyder

How curious that you should say that, Stu.

Before the owner bought this car he used to have a 488GTB...

No; it's not from the region of Aceto Balsamico.

How about a snap from the pointy end?

Almost there, Stu.

It is, indeed, a McLaren but not the 720S

Here's a snap of the pretty distinctive rear light-cluster;
