Not French, and from the 1930s. Let's see if this helps:

I think I waited long enough. It´s time to release Stu from the pain of posting even the logos

This is a 1937 DKW F7 convertible and it´s todays condition is MUCH better than back in 1937 when it was new. No wonder, it belongs to Audi America, they are not only known for a bumber to bumper shine which made this car Pebble Beach usable but also for something "over perfect".

This one is the "Meister Cabriolet" and I think it might also be called the Wanderer. Rona|d, of course, is completely correct, and it's his turn.

The smaller F7 was the Reichsklasse (584cc, 18 hp), the ones with the bigger engines the "Meisterklasse" (684cc, 20 hp) and in the last year there was also the "Front Luxus Cabriolet" (1938, 700cc, 20 hp).

This one is an 1937 F7-700 Meisterklasse Cabrio (chassis # 3059314). Wonderfully restored, a beauty. It is not a Wanderer, which was another brand with mostly bigger cars under the Auto Union Label.

Auto Union had four rings in their logo, which we know as todays Audi logo. The four rings symbolized the four brands: DKW, Audi, Wanderer, Horch.
