eprom Posted August 9, 2011 Share #2062 Posted August 9, 2011 Uuuups, sorry - it's the first time that I'm looking at this thread. I don't know the other car.
LuxBob Posted August 9, 2011 Share #2063 Posted August 9, 2011 It looks like a two door with rear windows that tilt open. It has the square look of a Lada or FSO especially with the horizontal decoration strips but it is the vertical decoration strip that is puzzling. there is something of an early Audi 60 or square 100 but it still doesn't quite fit. Still thinking of new brand entries.

LuxBob Posted August 9, 2011 Share #2065 Posted August 9, 2011 Might it be an Audi 200 which had a rear quarter light which fits with this? The FSO and Lada's (124 and 125) would show a door at the rear. Scrabbling around a bit I'm afraid.
Rona!d Posted August 9, 2011 Share #2066 Posted August 9, 2011 No Audi 200. Any other ideas?

LuxBob Posted August 9, 2011 Share #2069 Posted August 9, 2011 I never realised it before but could this be an early Audi 100 LS 2 door?
Rona!d Posted August 9, 2011 Share #2070 Posted August 9, 2011 Bob, I think you are close enough, it´s the Audi 80 GL and 4-door. Welcome, dear visitor! LuxBob Posted August 9, 2011 Share #2071 Posted August 9, 2011 Oh, I'd dismissed the old 80. My father had several Audis and I have had three 100's so I should have been better on this. I will find something soon - my wood is arriving by tractor right now.
LuxBob Posted August 10, 2011 Share #2072 Posted August 10, 2011 This car should be fairly easy but I think we should only settle for the exact model which may not be so easy. Hopefully I have chosen one which allows our extremely knowledgeable non Europeans to come back in although to give you a small clue it is a European car. Welcome, dear visitor!
