elansprint72 Posted June 19, 2011 Author Share #1625 Posted June 19, 2011 Not a Roadster? I thought that DHC had side windows, with frames. I'm usually wrong in these matters.
neal Posted June 20, 2011 Share #1626 Posted June 20, 2011 DHC has roll up windows, wood dash and trim, and the top folds to the outside of the cockpit not behind the seats as in the roadster. They were a bit more expensive when new than roadsters but now demand a bit less on the collectors market. Welcome, dear visitor! lykaman Posted June 20, 2011 Share #1628 Posted June 20, 2011 XK120 Speedster/Covered rear wheels
Rona!d Posted June 20, 2011 Share #1629 Posted June 20, 2011 (edited) XK120Speedster/Covered rear wheels Indeed it is an XK 120, but not a Speedster, but a DHC (drophead coupe). You are a little bit late with your answer, we already solved the riddle as a "team" (see above). Maybe you are faster with posting a new picture, because this time everybody who is first can jump in with the next photo. kkochheiser Posted June 22, 2011 Share #1636 Posted June 22, 2011 Well, working from a possible Rootes Group connection, Singer? The shape just doesn't look right though. Singer had a relationship with HRG but that is a pretty tenuous connection... Kent

J_Thompson Posted June 22, 2011 Share #1638 Posted June 22, 2011 (edited) That looks like a Sunbeam-Talbot insignia. Not sure about the car - could be an early post-war monoposto. Whoops, looks like Kent just beat me to it! Edited June 22, 2011 by J_Thompson Too slow.
