Neal -

Sorry. Incorrect on both counts. The car is used in a current series.

Hint: I took this shot last year at the west entrance to Grand Central where Lime Rock was publicizing itself and the racing series. Here's another shot with the track's head of marketing, and as before I've covered over the decal telling the marque.

Stuart,

unfortunately I do not know this pretty young woman, but I think it is a Crown Royal Ford which was also driven during the 2011 Rolex Sports Car Series.

Best regards,

Marc

Marc - Over to you. Ford Daytona, and the Rolex series is the American Le Mans series.

Rona|d - Renea is very sweet. Here's a tighter shot of her.

Thank you very much Stuart,

to be honest, your car has taken a backseat in comparison to Renea, but let's go to another car (without marketing girl). I hope the view is not unfair, let me know, if you need more pictures. But my experience tells me that you will solve this problem very fast.

This car is not as fast as the Ford.

Have fun,

Marc

I laughed out loud when I saw it - Talk about lack of detail. However, it could be a Chevy Monte Carlo from the '70s., or one of the badge engineered versions of the same car by Pontiac, Oldsmobile or Buick.

Ronald,

you are right, it is not a BMW and it is not a German car. You are on the right continent but do not forget the countries in the south.

Stefan,

you are the winner!!! It is in fact an Alfa Romeo Spider 916. The design of this car was totally different to former Alfa spiders. Up to now, i like this special kind of design.

Congratulations.

Best regards

Marc

Congratulations!

Interesting, I wasn´t aware of the shape of the red "edge" from the trunk to the sides. Now I see, there is not the edge I saw. It´s just the reflection.

Indeed a very special design, I much prefer the old ones, from "Osso di Seppia" and earlier.
