My only thought is, judging by the size of the front drums, it's not a car that can be expected to be able to stop very quickly. (Or at least, not very often.)

So my guess would be a 250 GTO :)

I don't suppose it could be the fabled 250 Testa Rossa could it? If only you'd supplied a colour picture of the hub spinner...... If not that, then my only other thought could the LM.

I'm running out of ideas here now. (And I'm not a Ferrari expert either.) But, one last try... I don't suppose it could be an early Series 1 Mondial could it? The wheel doesn't look quite right but after all these years, anything is possible.

all the leaves are brown

and the sky is grey

I've been for a walk

on a winter's day

I'd be safe and warm

if I was in L.A

California Dreamin'

on such a winter's day

stopped into a church

I passed along the way

well, I got down on my knees

and I pretend to pray

you know the preacher likes the cold

he knows I'm gonna stay

California Dreamin'

on such a winter's day

all the leaves are brown

and the sky is grey

I've been for a walk

on a winter's day

if I didn't tell her

I could leave today

California Dreamin'

on such a winter's day

I should have known you'd get it, and I like your way of identifying it. The wheel above is on a silver 1958 California raodster, but at the moment I can't find a picture of it. Instead, here's another '58 in the same locxation, 18 months earlier.

...no expert , maybe, but is a pleasure to see a woman dealing of arguments which too many times are strictly male-bounded... :)

I'm sorry - I missed that.

On another note I did find the photo of the car of which I shot the Borrani wheel. In this case it's actually a 1959 in blue. One of the gents in the background is a colleague who accompanied me to the event - the grand re-opening of The Ferrari Store last June.
