farnz Posted December 21, 2006 Share #4 Posted December 21, 2006 Well spotted, Bruno! I feel transfixed by her cold, calculating stare, which is strengthened by it being the only static element of your image. Pete.
PhotoArchival Posted December 22, 2006 Share #5 Posted December 22, 2006 COOL!!! Nice catch and well composed. Amado
stuny Posted December 22, 2006 Share #6 Posted December 22, 2006 Rainer - Superb, and a wonderful sense of foreboding. I really like the play of the still agaisnt the motion, the sharp against the blurred, the geometrics, the light and color.
jmr Posted December 22, 2006 Share #7 Posted December 22, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Bruno, very good shot. The composition is spot on in my opinion.
andym911 Posted December 22, 2006 Share #8 Posted December 22, 2006 Nice, but the title does not fit the image at all...there are no protruding eyes in this shot. but I like it andy
robert_parker Posted December 23, 2006 Share #9 Posted December 23, 2006 Bruno Well observed and outstanding dynamic colour and composition. As Andy says, to the English audience it is actually a case more of staring eyes than protruding eyes (protruding would mean 'popping out' or 'bug eyed') but the title doesent detract from a really outstanding piece of work and superb use of colour. Staring !! Protruding !! ..funny lot, us English... Happy Christmas
farnz Posted December 23, 2006 Share #10 Posted December 23, 2006 "Intruding" eyes would also be appropriate. But, hey, for me the image is so good that the title is unimportant. Pete.
wilfredo Posted December 23, 2006 Share #11 Posted December 23, 2006 Bruno, This image has a lot of strength and artistic value. It leaves me a bit unsettled and reminds of how lonely and cold life in an urban setting can be. Merry Christmas, Wilfredo Benitez-Rivera Photography
