Advertisement Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Hi gverdon, Take a look here A quiet afternoon for pigeons . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted December 21, 2006 Share #2 Posted December 21, 2006 Gerald - Delightful for its tones, details, picture elements and composition. It really make me wonder what the person on the right with the white hat is about to do.
jmr Posted December 21, 2006 Share #3 Posted December 21, 2006 Gérald, nicely seen and captured.

johnwolf Posted December 21, 2006 Share #5 Posted December 21, 2006 Gerald, Such nice geometrics in this image -- the rectangles and diagonals of the floor, the line of sight from pigeons to the guy on the right, then diagonally to between the buildings. And the repetitive window patterns. An engaging composition. John
PhotoArchival Posted December 22, 2006 Share #6 Posted December 22, 2006 Funny title! Very nice B&W image Gerald! Thanks for sharing. I bet this would look great enlarged to see the detail in the background as well. Amado
Guest lykoudos Posted December 22, 2006 Share #7 Posted December 22, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello Gèrald, A very beautiful admission succeeded to you there: Motive, composition, tendency and naturally your amplifier off changing, which led to this unusual picture. Particularly the tendency bound me: Both cheerful, and darkly: A laughter and crying. Greeting Wolfgang (MP grey hammertone, 2,8/28; 1,4/50; 2/90)
Guest chris_h Posted December 22, 2006 Share #8 Posted December 22, 2006 More light ! (Goethe) ...
gverdon Posted December 22, 2006 Author Share #9 Posted December 22, 2006 Thank you everyone. Chris, be assured I tried this and that the version I presented is the result of a choice. Even if I generally tend to agree with Goethe and you, in this case, the light (or lack of) is the one I observed that hot July aftnernoon, something like a leaden turned sky despite the sun. Thank you all, again. Gérald
jotam Posted December 23, 2006 Share #10 Posted December 23, 2006 John said it and I agree! As for the «quantity / quality» of ligh: Gérald's choice, of course! José
mitchell Posted December 23, 2006 Share #11 Posted December 23, 2006 Great shot. I like how the plaza looks almost rounded although surely it is flat. Best, Mitchell

Rolo Posted December 27, 2006 Share #16 Posted December 27, 2006 Really nice image Gerald. Well seen, good composition and excellent processing. Often a good image can be processed in several different ways, each as good as the other. Maybe a cross between the two shown would provide the lift suggested. Nevertheless, thanks for showing. beramos Posted December 27, 2006 Share #17 Posted December 27, 2006 Gérald, Perfect contrast between(among) the hustle of the persons and the absence of this one for the pigeons. Great composition, light captured and tones (as usual) . I like it.
