vdb Posted April 6, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted April 6, 2010 Thanks Tri,Melissa. Melissa- I've tried to get Butler to clean up a bit....but he trouble keeping his shower cap on. Actually, donkeysnare originally from the desert...so they are not too fond of water. But believe it or not, he smells like baby powder. And deep down, Ms. marple wants him:)
stuny Posted April 6, 2010 Share #5 Posted April 6, 2010 Virgil - Like they went on vacation together and the "camera girl" snapped them eating at a fancy restaurant. They’ll treasure this shot in their dotage. Beyond my silliness above, delightful, terrific.
pauledell Posted April 6, 2010 Share #6 Posted April 6, 2010 Virgil, It looks like Butler is crooning a love song to Miss Marple. Have you been playing Bing Crosby songs for Butler's benefit? Paul

albert Posted April 15, 2010 Share #11 Posted April 15, 2010 Virgil, They are a very lucky couple who have been well photographed. Do mini-mules and/or donkeys wear horseshoes ?

vdb Posted April 16, 2010 Author Share #13 Posted April 16, 2010 Louis-these 2 were rescued at the auction....they were headed for slaughter. They were emaciated and clearly abused. Now they are helping others heal. My wife is a psychologist and runs an equine assisted psychotherapy facility....our farm. Al, none ofmour equines wear shoes. They live naturally. We don't ride on hard surfaces...nor do we show. Brent...thanks but my wife deserves all the credit. I'm just a barn hand....with a leica;)

daveleo Posted April 17, 2010 Share #16 Posted April 17, 2010 Virgil i like the photo very much . . . the pattern of the lighter patches is very soft and pretty, aside from those cute faces! and you and your wife each get a gold star for the animal rescue story.
