LTM Elmar 90/4 @ f8.

Scaling doesn't render justice. Actual image is quite sharp and performance's very even on the whole field. I just converted into BW and increased just a bit the sharpness and contrast.

1947 Carl Zeiss Jena 50/2 Sonnar wide open with Amedeo Muscelli Contax to M adaptor. No pp apart from resizing for the forum's constraints. (This was taken with my M9 but I hope it's allowed since the thread's about the glass.:o)

A couple test shots with the Telyt 200/4 on a Visoflex I + LTM/M adapter, both at full aperture.

Meet the quirkiest DSLR ever made. I just hope I'll never have to reassemble it when the unrepeatable moment will come... :D

Still it works and the results it can deliver aren't that shabby either.

After all the lens itself is very a respectable Mandler design and the fact that they kept it into production from 1961 to 1984 must mean something!

And here's a test shot with an LTM Hektor 135/4.5, this too at full aperture. My excuse being that at f8 (almost) all lenses behave decently but it's at full aperture where they reveal most their character.

Mostly regarded as a dog compared to the more modern Elmars I still feel that at close distance it delivers sweeter images, making it a solid candidate for severed heads portraits and glowing dreamy images. At further distances it sadly remains a dog...
