I think alot of beautiful detail is lost by the file and photo size limitations on this forum....... did you post this on Pbase in larger size? I never post bigger than this in pbase because the small size is harder to steal and print well....and I have had my work stolen. I used a 135mm lens on the M8 and just waited for the bird to fly into my space. I had focused on one branch . I also used a flash. Rangefinders are not good birders but it can be done. I focus the camera on a place i know hw is going and then I wait until he comes into focus and shoot. I also have a Nikon camera set on a tripod aimed at a feeder and I wait.
