Rolo Posted February 12, 2010 Share #243 Posted February 12, 2010 Is that the Rollei that David S had on Monday, Rolo? No Andy, didn't know David has one. I've owned this longer than any other camera I have. Made in 1967, I bought it in 1982 and it was the 5th Rollei TLR I've owned as I gently wound my way up the range. It's not had much use in many years, but that's about to change, I hope. Had it serviced last year by Brian Mickleborough and it's ready to go. Finest lens I've ever had, although the SWC is special too. If I was confined to one camera, one lens (two here) this would be the camera. Finest tool I've ever owned. It's going in the box with me. Virgil, eyes are only needed to set-up a photograph, not execute it.
azzo Posted February 12, 2010 Share #244 Posted February 12, 2010 There aren't many photos of me, either. Here's one from today. M9, 50mm Elmar-M, Self Timer = 12 seconds. x Lotsa freckles. Or is that M9 grain? Great self portrait Rolo.
stuny Posted February 12, 2010 Share #245 Posted February 12, 2010 Rolo - You need to visit your oculist so that he can adjust your frames, which are askew.

cocker Posted February 13, 2010 Share #247 Posted February 13, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) We share many friends but differ on punctuation! Only an idiot would use a field camera indoors, btw: no room to manoeuvre the tractor. You need an X1. I would never have been a proof-reader! Just an avid reader! The X1, as I understand it, would be too fast for me.

vertekijker Posted February 22, 2010 Share #259 Posted February 22, 2010 A year and a half ago - during the annual fair in my hometown - I passed this fence with small, round mirrors attached to it. Managed to fit my head on one of them and my legs on the other - what is in between you just have to imagine. ----------- Frans Welcome, dear visitor!
