You could always post under a pseudonym. Much more mysterious that way. Who would have guessed M Sarkozy was a Leica user.

andybarton Posted December 7, 2009 Author Share #47 Posted December 7, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) The fundraising is going to be featured on the AICR website. I will post a link as soon as they have told me what it is. They are also going to feature the book prominently when it is available, which is excellent news. Finally, I have also made the Daily Telegraph photography blog lady aware of what we are doing, so it would be nice to get a mention there when the time comes. Overgaard Posted December 8, 2009 Share #50 Posted December 8, 2009 This is such a great setup with the charity and all. Now, I know it's me who missed reading somewhere along the way. But what type of photos are we looking for - and what is the forum/subforum classifications one must put there (which I'm sure will answer my first question ;-)
andybarton Posted December 8, 2009 Author Share #51 Posted December 8, 2009 We are looking for your 1, 2 or 3 best photographs. Just the "best". It is up to you to say which category they go into - the categories/chapters are the same as the Photo Section of the Forum.

stunsworth Posted December 9, 2009 Share #58 Posted December 9, 2009 Too bad this restriction is in place. I would have plenty of M6 shots, but I joined this forum only after ordering an M9, which was a month after the deadline. After discussion, those of us involved in producing the book have decided that it is silly to exclude M9 photographs from being submitted. Since the 3 months deadline was intended to prevent people from joining the forum to submit photographs the 'join before' date has now been changed to the 23rd of November. So if you joined on or before that date you are eligible to submit photographs for the book.
stunsworth Posted December 9, 2009 Share #59 Posted December 9, 2009 Hi Steve, hope you got my three entries OK Hi Tyler, yes I received them ok. I'm tending to save the photographs to disk every couple of days and send out an acknowledgement of receipt when I do that - so don't be too surprised if you receive an email from me later today. Guido Posted December 9, 2009 Share #60 Posted December 9, 2009 So if you joined on or before that date you are eligible to submit photographs for the book. Thanks for having reconsidered this!
