psquared Posted November 12, 2009 Share #30 Posted November 12, 2009 Jaap, LOVELY! This deserves to be hung as a large print. The only nit I have is what appears to be a dust bunny just above the Land Rover. Peter

Bob Jackson Posted November 15, 2009 Share #32 Posted November 15, 2009 Simplicity is best. This is a prime example of that. Well done, very nice photo.
ShyTot Posted November 23, 2009 Share #33 Posted November 23, 2009 Jaap, Wonderful image, great composition, feeling, colour pzzaz, focus. I've noted this about many of your DMR shots and not just those from this excellent collection from Africa. They are exceptional. In comparison, your M8/9 images are drab and OOF and would hardly think they were from the same photographer. Now you may not agree, but it's what I see and feel I need to say. You R SLR shots are multiple times better and demonstrate your ability with a camera. Keep posting these.

jaapv Posted November 25, 2009 Author Share #35 Posted November 25, 2009 Martin and Bob, thanks. Shytot, thanks for the slighly backhanded compliment. I'm sure you understand that I agree with your valuation of my SLR stuff;), but many of my M8 images have met with approval here, and the M9 clearly surpasses the M8 on the colour and clarity front, and even the DMR:eek:
