Overgaard Posted November 27, 2006 Share #4 Posted November 27, 2006 It's a great shot in itself. But also it works on so many levels in illustraiting a culture and country. It's very much 'daily life' illustrated in a very aesthetic and intersting way.

stuny Posted November 27, 2006 Share #8 Posted November 27, 2006 Abhinava - What a delightful scene, masterfully rendered. In other places this sceen would be filled with feelings of danger, but not so here. Wonderful in concept, execution and content.

robert_parker Posted November 27, 2006 Share #11 Posted November 27, 2006 Abhinava The lighting and the composition are superb and the use of black and white adds to the image considerably - I also like the subtle details, such as the posters / designs on the wall to the left and the position of the rickshaw driver, helping focus the attention on the subject. bebal Posted November 28, 2006 Share #13 Posted November 28, 2006 Abhinava, this photograph is great! To me there is magic in it, there seems to be more, than can be seen at first sight. I like magical pictures especially when they're in black and white, and I'd like to see more of that kind. It's my "picture of the month". mitchell Posted November 28, 2006 Share #15 Posted November 28, 2006 When I see your name I always take a look and I'm not dissapointed, but this is one of your very best. It's really wonderful! I'm amazed at how compelling it is, and how much I want to fill in what's going on in the heads and hearts of both subjects. Extremely evocotive. A great inspiration for a short story or novel. Thanks for showing. Best, MItchell
