Several people are flying in on the Saturday, so we need to make sure that everyone can be accommodated. Therefore I am free to announce that, at great expense to the management (moi!) I have booked a flight from Melbourne to Rome. I now only have to book a train ticket fro Roma to Venezia and can declare myself a contender for the One Challenge in 2010! A hurdle still to be negotiated is the fact that Trenitalia (Italian trains) habitually refuse foreign credit cards. I have just applied for one of my accounts to be converted to a debit card so I can try that. Ah! the joys of international travel. I still have to arrange accommodation, but am looking for really cheap so it may take some time, if possible at all. Now I will study the Saturday evening menu and place an order to comply with Andy's need to advance order. Looking forward meeting old faces, and new ones.
