Hi,

I would like to arrange a London forum meeting - just an informal get together for anyone local or interested, bring some recent photos to show, bring your M8 if you have one!

I'd like to propose a few dates and we'll go with whatever is most popular - given that Christmas if fast approaching and we all have to fit our shopping and xmas parties in!

Sat 9th Dec, Mon 11th Dec or Sat 13th Jan. I propose meeting at lunchtime if a Saturday or 7pm on a Monday. So, you can fit a meet around some xmas shopping or save it up for the January sales!

Unfortunately, I will not be able to join you, but I wish I could. Have a fun!

Drinks are consumed on all these occasions ;)

(In Manchester last week, it was only coffee I'm afraid, but I am sure other beverages could be arranged :) )

Berlin has very good beer, so I am told.

Having worked for two years in the Holborn area, I can recommend Strada (6 Great Queen St) for Italian food and Wolfe's (30 Great Queen St) for American food. Will be there again next week but won't make it in January. Have fun.

OK lets make it Sat 13th Jan, at 1pm. I've got a couple of venues to check out in the Holborn area and will post an new thread with details later.

James,

Great idea and I'm sorry to be missing it but I'll be away. Have a beer for me.

Cheers

Michael

That sounds like a great idea, and i'll see if I can come along - but I think Len's little shop couldn't take a mini invasion :)

I think immediately in the New year Len is moving to temporary premises nearby in Sicillian Ave. Then he's moving to Southampton Row. There is/was a notice in their window. If I'm not mistaken the shops in Sicillian Ave. are quite deep, they go back a long way. :)

Bob.
