Dear All, Does anyone have any experience of TTArtisan light meters,? I though that they had a good reputation, but see below... I bought one (Series 2) because I wanted to test them because I haveb een getting some odd results with my IIIf M3 (my Weston Mk V has finally stopped working properly). I normally shoot "Sunny 16" and wanted to understand if the issue was me, developing (proffesional) or what. I was comparing what I would expect to get from Sunny 16 with my digital Fuji and the LM. I tested in a variety of light levels and degrees of shade. To my amazement the LM and the other exposures agreed on only one occasion, when I was pointing the LM and the Fuji at a white wall in full Mediterranean sunlight (seriously f22)! Otherwise they were miles apart. Both FUji and LM were set to 400ASA. When I shot the scenes with the Fuji the images were, in general, fine. Anyone any thoughts/explanations? Of course the Fuji has a zoned meter, but still... Thanks in advance

Hi, I'm about to buy a Leica C1 for 450 euro.. I've searched the forum but didn't find answers.. There are some known problems? Price is good knowing that if it have problems it will not be fixed? (only read about problems on Leica C3 and Leica CM ) Thanks

Servus,, letztes Jahr bin ich durch eine Reinvestion (Scotch) und habe den Schritt zu Leica gemacht bzw vor zwei Jahren hatte ich ja schon das R-System besessen jedoch alles wieder verkauft und auch mit in die M gespielt und verliebt. Aber da mir es keine Ruhe gelassen hat war ich dann auf Suche nach alten Schätzchen und somit haben sich drei Barnacks der IIf/IIIf/IIIC den Weg zu mir gefunden auch zwei M3 DS/SS und sind nun Abwechslungsreich mit auf meinen Touren auch im Job. Quasi als EDC😁 Die ersten Filme sind belichtet wobei bei zwei'n die längeren Zeiten nicht gepasst haben also den Verkäufer angeschrieben und ohne Probleme wurden neu justiert. Und bei der IIIf war Lichteinfall somit auch angeschrieben und wurde auch ohne Probleme seinerseits erneuert. Entschleunigt unterwegs zu sein macht schon was her und einfach der Spaßeffekt zielt schon ab.
