Hi Everyone , I have found on Ebay this eyecup that solves the problem of extrenuous light that can leak into the viewfinder that can be distracting. I seem to have this problem a lot ,not sure if it is because I shoot left eyed but this fixes the problem. I have read some people have had problems with the rubber surround getting damaged or needing replacement .This fits perfect over the outer viewfinder so instead of replacing the whole viewfinder unit this would solve the problem cheaply. The eyecup is advertised for Q3 but it fits perfectly on Q2. Cost was around $30 Australian. Is there a Leica or 3rd party larger Eyecup that works well with Q2/Q2M? I'm a glasses wearer, and I am looking a solution that would help in bright light.

Anyone know of an aftermarket replacement eyecup or workaround for the Leica SL? Mine has had its plastic innards self-destruct and is peeling away, as you can see here. Leica Store Miami didn’t know of any solution other than sending to Leica USA for repair (yuck), and they usually take forever for anything.

Greetings all, hope everyone here is having a wonderful start to Spring! Wanted to see if anyone knows if there is a 3rd party that makes an eye-cup attachment for the SL3 or SL2 EVF (they have same EVF dimensions) I am looking to have a more fully blacked out viewing window like the reference below.
