adan Posted February 27, 2012 Share #1  Posted February 27, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) L'il ol' ColoradoSeen just won 2nd place in the category Magazine Picture Editing - Special Section or Series from the University of Missouri's Pictures Of the Year International competition.  (Leica content - all the pix were with M9, or Canon 5D2 with 180/400 Leica R lenses)  National Geographic took 1st and 3rd place, and TIME took Honorable Mention  Series or Special Section - Magazine  This is still just sinking in, but - Holy Freakin' Bananas! I looked through the images and there are some really amazing photos in a wide variety of situations. I like how you've varied the viewpoint, focal length and DOF for dynamic story-telling.
