TacTZilla Posted November 29, 2009 Share #5 Posted November 29, 2009 I think anyone who is still waiting for one and has the money should offer him £4,800 (as he's asking £50 for shipping). He will no doubt knock that back. In fact, I think I'll offer £4,500. It is second hand after all ;^) B

earleygallery Posted November 30, 2009 Share #7 Posted November 30, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Where you prepared to buy it at £4500 - it would have been a legally binding sale if the bid was accepted!!

Bill W Posted November 30, 2009 Share #9 Posted November 30, 2009 Either it sold or was taken off ebay. I could not find it searching by M9 or the seller.
adan Posted November 30, 2009 Share #10 Posted November 30, 2009 The flip side of this is that I got an email back in October from someone who found out I already had an M9, offering to buy mine and pay more than retail in order to avoid a waitlist. I don't know how much more, because we never got that far in negotiations - mine wasn't for sale at any premium. If they'd been on eBay then, I guess that's where he'd have gone instead. I think it would be bad form to jump the line on a dealer's list by paying extra for the privilege - but in private sales between individuals, I don't see a problem. scott kirkpatrick Posted November 30, 2009 Share #11 Posted November 30, 2009 I think it was reported in several earlier threads that M9s have been flipped on E-Bay for over $10,000. I hope the lucky buyer got it in its box, unregistered. One seller claimed he had changed his mind and was going back to the line at the store for a grey one. It's a sideshow. Mine is not for sale, I've registered it, and it has been working hard already. scott
