Rolo - I am definitely shooting lots of film but when the lights go down (specially for color work) this combo is going to do all the heavy lifting.

Cheers,

Hey Riccis, fully understand. Just being light hearted. I love it all and do it all. Life's a yo-yo. ;)

Truly, hope it's great for you. Let me know.

LOL.. Im still waiting.

Kind of suspected you had a pre-pro M a while ago when you stopped mentioning the M8. don't know if you did, but I can't think of a better person for them to drag the pre-pro through a hard work day.

Have always thought of wedding photography as "tri-atlon" for photographers.... who else works non stop for 8 hours, (or more) shoot, candid, posed, product photography, macro, flowers, action (look out for desperate brides maids backing up to catch flowers while wearing heels) and romantic photography, all of this in a number of difficult lighting scenarios... Wedding photography is HARD work.!

But fun at the same time, usually. :D

I'm on first guys: - 10:30am at the farm, 12:30 at the church, then ...... until the party & dancing at 9:00pm.

Don't forget that we also often act as advocates for the bride :) We're with her a lot on the day and sometimes they need to vent :)

I sprained my ankle quite badly at my last shoot as well, as I fell off a ledge trying to get a shot. Bride and groom were turned around--they didn't even notice :) LOL!! I shot the rest of the wedding, but it was good to have an assistant at that point!

Just wrapped up the wedding and about to head back to L.A. and so some personal shooting in Hollywood Blvd... Anyway, It was 100% available light and the images look amazing. I am very pleased with the high ISO performance and I really don't understand what everyone is moaning about... The M9 is really a fantastic camera.

It's time to hear the opinion of the professionals who use the camera for their daily work. You know how important are the improvements of the M9. I'm very happy to hear a positive opinion from you. :)

No doubts about results. Ricci you are the largest part of the results althought the Camera and lens are great.

It seems that the Noctilux has a new life on the M9.

That Nocti-95 is soOoo very tempting. What scares me the most is that I could actually have it, if I were to cave to my more practical side. Every time I see it illustrated in a thread such as this, I feel that familiar impulsive drive. Hmm, I wonder if that’s just me…

Regards,
