martinop Posted November 12, 2006 Share #5 Posted November 12, 2006 The lighting about the "in focus yellow leaf" enhanced / contrasted by the shallow DOF & bokeh is very appealing to me.
billh Posted November 12, 2006 Share #6 Posted November 12, 2006 We have a neighbor from the Norwegian embassy. I asked about the weather at home in northern Norway, and he told me they have half a meter of snow. I believe he said they had daylight from 10 AM to 2 PM. He was blowing leaves into a pile, in his shorts, so I took a photo so he could email home a shot of himself engaged in this strange activity. You captured great light too. Thanks for sharing.

leicamann Posted November 13, 2006 Share #10 Posted November 13, 2006 Brent, lovely backlight here..the new Fuji film has a very lovely color pallette, very pleasing to the eye...doesn't go "over the top" like some Fuji films do. Thanks for sharing Regards, Leicamann

pemayeux Posted November 13, 2006 Share #12 Posted November 13, 2006 Magnificent shot Brent! The single leaf caught in the light is such a nice catch. Well seen. Paul.
fotografr Posted November 14, 2006 Author Share #13 Posted November 14, 2006 Paul, Azzo and John--Thanks for the kind words. My wife and I were just walking home from the store and as I saw this glowing leaf on my neighbors lawn I had to hand her the bag of groceries and take a few shots. She's used to that behavior by now.
