Bert - Thank you. Your 50's Restaurant image is just as lovely.

Here's a car that should be from that period of time. :)

There are some excellent pictures in this thread.

Just got my Digilux 3 back from Germany last week (sent off in early May) and thought I would add one of my first post repair files.

Taken 19 years ago using a Canon T90 with 100mm Macro Elmar on bellows and SRB adaptor and two 300TL flashguns each at 45 degrees behind the subject. Selection of multiple exposures - playing the percentages hoping some would work - with a random selection of coloured gels over the flashguns each time . 100 ISO Ektachrome rated at highest ISO possible with the camera. The T90 camera was very good for multiple exposure photography especially with the dedicated flashguns. The 100mm Macro Elmar with its Leica bellows was my first Leica purchase from Reg Byford at Ffordes in 1989 and I was so impressed with the build quality I then bought an R4-S Model 2. With each exposure water was gradually poured into the glass until at the last exposure the glass was almost full.

This is a scan from a Cibachrome print

It has to be the black frame - it seems to enhance the colour.
