abrewer Posted November 3, 2006 Share #7 Posted November 3, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi Andy! When I was a youngster my summers were spent on my grandfather's farm. I can remember scenes like this one (with green peas and bushel baskets instead of cabbage and boxes!). You've brought back memories of a lost time that is bittersweet to recall. Thanks for the great shot. Allan
pemayeux Posted November 3, 2006 Share #8 Posted November 3, 2006 I love the color, composition and detail of this shot! Was it made with the DMR?
andybarton Posted November 3, 2006 Author Share #9 Posted November 3, 2006 Thanks folks. Yes, this was with my usual R8/DMR/28 weapon of choice.
pemayeux Posted November 3, 2006 Share #10 Posted November 3, 2006 Nice, nothing has swayed me more toward the M8 (assuming it will render the same as a DMR) than seeing the images you get from the DMR. The color rendition is second to none.

albert Posted November 4, 2006 Share #13 Posted November 4, 2006 Beautiful.....Do DMR's have a distinctive look ? They seem, at least in color, to be "other-worldy".......This is a compliment
andybarton Posted November 4, 2006 Author Share #14 Posted November 4, 2006 Beautiful.....Do DMR's have a distinctive look ? They seem, at least in color, to be "other-worldy".......This is a compliment Thanks Al. They are said to have a Kodachrome look about them, but I am not so sure. If you don't play around with saturation and hues etc, and use Capture One as your RAW processor (together with the DMR profile) they are very natural, in my limited experience. I'm very much still learning with mine.
