underground Posted March 25, 2009 Share #1 Posted March 25, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) This is a flower the we have been able to keep alive for about three years now. I thought I would share it with you all here. I was also playing with my wife's C-lux in the back yard. Thanx for viewing.

stuny Posted March 25, 2009 Share #4 Posted March 25, 2009 UG - I agree. Superb, and a homage to O'Keefe. BTW: Your neighbor told me that he cut down the original flower 28 months ago and replaced it with this realistic artificial one.

underground Posted March 25, 2009 Author Share #6 Posted March 25, 2009 Michael, Vergil, Stu, Jean-Luc Thank you very much. Its a lucky shot. I was playing with my wives C-Lux in the yard and shot the flower, I loaded it up on the computer and it wasn't good at all. So I de-saturated it and put the contrast to max using Aperture. That blacked out the back ground, a simple crop and i think it turned out ok. Thanx again for kind remarks.
