good evening,

 

when reviewing my berlin shots stuart commented that one of the pics has a dream-like air to it. this was a really interesting comment to me, so i revisited this image today and tried to make it look even more dream-like ...

 

kindly have a look - curious to read your thoughts on this version.

Now it takes on more of a surrealist's dream (think of Dali's work in Hitchcock's Spellbound), probably because of your treatment of the cranes. Very nice.

thnx, glad you liked it. stuart, i guess surrealistic is a good way of putting it - i wanted the picture to 'fade away', like those loose dream-like memories. taking out contrast and color created that nice effect on the cranes' structure.
