In the last picture of Woody Allen (Vicky, Victoria, Barcelona), one of the main actress, change its low level digital camera for a Leica M because he was advised to change digital for a film camera to take really good pictures, and since then, her pictures become increasily better. Someone of the Forum members saw that picture? Maybe was it a hidden Leica add?

The character was the woman played by Scarlet Johanson, and it very clearly is an M, though never stated as a Leica. We were dissappointed in the film.

Stuny,

Mr. Woody disappoints me since "Bananas" (I was 9). :D

I wasn't disappointed in the movie. I thought it was good. No, they never mentioned that the camera was a Leica but they didn't do anything to hide the fact. When a camera is 3 feet tall on a movie screen, it's kind of hard to figure it's anything else.

Me too, but anyway, it isn't usual to see a Leica camera in an actual film, and so clearly. Does anybody know if Mr. Allen has a personal Leica camera?

Here are dozen's of movies in which there are Leicas. Leicas in the Movies

I wouldn't be surprised if Mr Allen didn't shoot a Leica, he is a rich artist what else would he shoot?

Hi,

AFAIK, the M6 in this movie is the personal camera of Mr. Allen.

BTW, the link state:

"Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008) Fan stills taken on location in Barcelona during the first days of filming, show Scarlett Johansson using a chrome M6 classic with a vintage 50mm 'lux"

This is wrong. The lens is a Summarit-M 50mm f/1,5 (SOOIA-M), as the Summilux doesn't have a focus stop button (or how you call it).
