stuny Posted July 3, 2019 Share #18783 Posted July 3, 2019 I think Michael is referring to somebody whose close friends called him, "Coatless Wally."
war Posted July 3, 2019 Share #18784 Posted July 3, 2019 Hi Michael. Yes this person was famous enough to have a cigarette brand named after him. The comedian Red Skelton was made famous by a television show sponsored by that brand. Your hint should be enough to bring someone forward with the answer. Dirk Van der Herten Posted July 4, 2019 Share #18793 Posted July 4, 2019 The building to the right, perhaps a military construction, doesn’t give much clues, nor does the form of the (is)land in the background. Maybe one could find the location by the combination of the date in the exifs of Otto’s photo and the identification of the ship in order to consult the captain’s logbook. But being very lazy, just a guess: a Greek island?
otto.f Posted July 5, 2019 Share #18794 Posted July 5, 2019 Greece it is not. I’m not very sure, but this ship does not cruise to Greece or seldom.
