robsteve Posted October 19, 2006 Share #1 Posted October 19, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I spent a day in Cape Breton hoping to get some nice fall colors. I was a week late for the full bloom, a windstorm last week took off a lot of the leaves. The first three are with the 35-70mm Elmarit zoom. The last two with the 21-35mm. All with the DMR. jmr Posted October 22, 2006 Share #4 Posted October 22, 2006 Robert, all lovely. Great, rich colours in 1 & 2. My favorite is number 3; I like the colour harmony between the leaves and the water. Thanks.
fotografr Posted October 22, 2006 Share #5 Posted October 22, 2006 Excellent series top to bottom. I particularly like the waterfall shot with the complimentary golds working together.

mgcd Posted October 23, 2006 Share #7 Posted October 23, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I totally forgot it was Fall! Especially with the mercury not budging much from 32C˚ here in Indonesia. Beautiful shots here Robert, indeed very nice to see. Cheers,
abrewer Posted October 23, 2006 Share #8 Posted October 23, 2006 Wonderful shots all, Robert. The waterfall is my favorite--sublime motion behind the little tree. I know it's all schmaltz and warm/fuzzy but DAMN! I like sunset pictures. Yours is terrific here. Thanks. Allan
pemayeux Posted October 23, 2006 Share #9 Posted October 23, 2006 Beautiful shots. I'm envious because our autumns are so dull. Thanks for posting these.
robsteve Posted October 24, 2006 Author Share #10 Posted October 24, 2006 The waterfall shot took me a few tries. I kept moving the tripod and trying higher and lower angles. That was the one I liked the most. It was a bit precarious on the rocks and I was worried I would knock the tripod over the edge.
