In that latter group falls a TV talent contest called American Idol, a rather mean-spirited slice of reality television, which is possibly so popular because of its mean spiritedness. This advertisement is on the stair risers and columns exiting the subway shuttle at Grand Central. The shuttle has but two stops: Grand Central on the Eastside, and Times Square on the Westside. a very small part of the 260 miles of subway track in New York City.
