I set myself a little project and wandered through Prague in the evening with just the CV Nokton 1.2 on. Judge for yourself..

I did use an IR/UV filter, and was surprised at the minimal number of reflections I had. I did three clones in total over the whole series.

Wonderful set of photographs... The Nokton is a large lens... and a bit heavy... but I did not see any shake. No noise either... really clean.

I wonder what iso, fstop, shutter speed you used?

I must confess to not noting down f-stops, but they will range from 1.2 to 2.8. The ISO I must get from EXIF, as I was running auto-ISO with a 1250 max for most shots. Shuttertimes mostly in the 1/12th to 1/4 range, all hand-held. Postprocessing, yes, as you see there is quite some discontinuous light around, this will shift the WB to yellow-green, that was corrected, colours were enhanced in LAB mode, sharpening as needed. No noise reduction applied. I prefer a slow shutter and fast lens... There is one shot with a light-source on the edge (the red Xmas tree in front of the large building) It is uncropped, yet no green streak :)

Those are really nice shots, Jaap. You're right, you can't complain about the image quality with the Nokton. I'm impressed with mine as well, and it compares well to some ZMs (though some clearly are sharper but none go to f/1.2).

I've noticed the Leica UV/IR filters to be rather poorly coated as well. I'm used to Heliopan SH-PMC and B+W MRC filters, and they rarely (if ever) flare. When they do, it's typically small green globules... But the Leica filters? Ugh.
