stuny Posted January 5, 2009 Share #1 Posted January 5, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) There are a few subtle hints to which model Ferrari this is, and two subtle hints as to it being a Ferrari.. By the way, they do not permit photography in the showroom.

Guest flatfour Posted January 5, 2009 Share #5 Posted January 5, 2009 I can see the reflection of a Ferarri badge in the rear bumper but nothing else. A Ferarri in blue ?
stuny Posted January 5, 2009 Author Share #6 Posted January 5, 2009 Thanks, gents. So far Virgil identified the model (430 Scuderia), Pete wins the Cilly Car ID award (third time in a row, and due to retire the trophy to his abundant collection of trophies). Tony found one of the two indicators of it being a Ferrari. So far nobody has identified the idicators of its being a Scuderia.
elansprint72 Posted January 5, 2009 Share #7 Posted January 5, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Duck tail? I'm afraid that I lost interest in Ferrari when the Comendatore sold out to FIAT. Of course, if someone were to offer me one of these on loan.... Good angle, btw. How long before they ban you from entering this "shop"?

stuny Posted January 5, 2009 Author Share #9 Posted January 5, 2009 Pete - You one of the clues to the model (ducktail), and of course, by logical extension, this is a (forgive me) FIAT. And I'm pretty careful about stolen shots. Virgil - You picked up the second clue. There are other clues elsewhere, such as beneath the rear window there is bare alloy metal bracing, additional bracing, carbon fiber airboxes and the like, but they do not show in this image. Did you look at your 360 to come up with the carbon fiber difference, or did you figure it out independantly?

Did you look at your 360 to come up with the carbon fiber difference, or did you figure it out independantly? The tail lights are clearly 430. The 360 lights are not exposed on top. I think this gives the 430 a more aggressive, rocket-like look from the rear. The carbon fiber is uniquely Scuderia. This is one superb car. Obviously I am a fan. Very few things in life are as intoxicating as the sights and sounds of an F-car.
