Hi everyone,

I've been rather busy with things & haven't had the chance to post in quite some time. In the spirit of providing the company we all respect (Leica) with some positive input, perhaps a simple poll may be in order. If a modestly priced, smaller, M-lens compatible digital version of the CL came out, how many would buy one on the spot? With the approval of the moderator, please register my vote as ay! Regards,

Rick

the same happen with this digital cl. something small, cheaper than the m8. made in asia. just like the cl.

im getting tired of leica.

My Leitz-Minolta CL with the 40 & 90mm lenses was my fav camera ever (until, alas, a burglar made off with it.)

A digital equivalent (same size camera, similar lenses) with an APS sensor would be golden. Assuming I wouldn't have to sell my house to get one, sign me up.

It was the perfect carry-everywhere camera, with that tiny little 90 slipped in a pocket.

I still hate that burglar, 30 years later.

Thank you all for your replies. Yes indeed, a digital Leica CL does appear to be a popular request. Perhaps now, even more than when the film-based CL arrived, having an Asian company help produce a CL digital body that is compact, reasonably priced (so as to allow replacements or upgrades every few years as sensor capabilities are increased), and accepting of the basic M-lenses would be magnificent.

Regards,

Rick

P.S. I hope Leica is reading this!
